Adult ADHD

Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) used to be a diagnosis reserved for children. But now we know there are many people who have been living with the symptoms and silently experiencing significant challenges in life.

Do you find yourself:

  • Having trouble staying focused on tasks, especially if they're boring or repetitive,
  • Frequently zoning out during conversations,
  • Starting tasks but struggling to finish them,
  • Easily distracted by noises, thoughts, or other interruptions,
  • Misplacing things often (keys, phone, paperwork),
  • Having trouble keeping track of schedules, deadlines, or responsibilities,
  • Forgetting appointments or commitments,
  • Feeling overwhelmed by planning or managing tasks,
  • Running late frequently or underestimating how long things take,
  • Procrastinating, even on important tasks,
  • “Cramming” or rushing at the last minute.

It is possible that underneath those challenges is the busy, creative ADHD brain. And there are super powers that come with that brain—such as:

  • Being able to focus under intense pressure and even unsafe circumstances
  • Having the ability to have laser focus, tremendous drive and energy for the things you care deeply about
  • Being able to think outside of the box quickly and with great detail
  • Having an innate ability to use creativity in your work and personal life
  • Being a person who does not hold grudges and is quick to forgive.

Understanding how your brain works and developing strategies for managing the challenges and opening doors to the superpowers can be life changing for an adult with ADHD. Helping you with this understanding and building your toolbox is my goal. Let me know if I can be of help.
